RAASTAS: after reloaded the amount did not deposit to the number. Unable to reach: after several attempts on chats, call and FB able to make contact. Customer service; requested a call back but will do it after 24 hours. Case open: will be solved after 48 hours. So if we are to use your service, we pay 2 days in advance to make a call! is this a joke you are running here?

I was visited Al saad Ooredoo branch to shift my post paid SIM to prepaid Today (07/03/2023), Then the agent ask to pay the bill until March 17th and same time they confirmed I can use the post paid balance until 17th (which I paid in advance until 17th March 2023). Now I got the call and message saying that I cannot use the balance units.

SCAM ALERT! Turning on Settings Automatically to Charge More!

If I could give less than 1 star I would!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of answering one of the cold calls from OoredooQatar, and got upgraded to one of their pre-paid plans. The customer service representative who somehow found my number and called me failed to mention anything about travel fees.

Only after I came back from a short trip, I get hit with a bill of QAR700.

It turns out Ooredoo enabled my international roaming services automatically without me requesting them or even knowing that they exist. I raised the first complaint and waited for almost 2 months without any resolution. And when I went again to raise another complaint recently, I found out that they charged me another monthly fee even though I had requested several times for the service to be discontinued. I even manually go in and turn off the service from my Settings, but it automatically turns back on.

I couldn't get any help from chat support nor phone customer service.

And when I tried to explain my issue in person, they refused to cancel my subscription because they want to keep charging me monthly.

It quickly became clear that this company was trying to scam me out of money. I am very disappointed about the lack of transparency and lack of support I got, but most importantly the fact that they keep turning on features automatically even though I did not activate them and was NEVER made aware of them.

Not getting 4G signal from yesterday morning

From yesterday (08/12/2022) morning I didn't getting 4G signal and internet speed. I make complaint 3 times but still no progress and I'm facing the same problem till now. Some times 4G showing and after 5 minutes it will go then 3G coming with no internet speed. So I decided to cancel my sim card and change to Omantel.

This company is absolutely useless. They can't even get their own website to work half the time. Currently trying to order an extra router. First time I called I was put on hold four times as the operator didn't have a clue about anything. Second time I was given different info and told to order and fit the router myself. Third time managed to get some sense out of the advisor. Problem is, it's like this every time you call them. I wouldn't mind, but they are ridiculously expensive!

Misleading/False advertising and Packages

Ooredoo sales did an amazing job of hounding me to upgrade to a "5G"500MBPS Package. After signing up and expecting to get what I was "sold", I found that the service was never what was advertised.

After more than 6 months of having technicians come into my home, I have finally been informed that the devices on my network NO NOT support the internet speed that I have been paying for all along.

This means that in order to actually benefit from the 5G network I would have to replace ALL devices and Computers in my home.

Thank you Ooredoo for the LACK OF TRANSPARENCY!!!

You are happy to take my MONEY every month, I only wish that I was getting to enjoy what I was actually Paying for!

To make matters worse, your deception is sanctioned by the authorities, and there is nothing that any disgruntled customer can do.

Your company has managed to rip people off as you have a Monopoly, it is just unfortunate that you are not able to live up to the National slogan that says "Qatar Deserves the Best!"

I can't believe this happened to you, too. I switched to my other SIM to make a phone call and I turned off Ooreedo right before the call.

During the call, I realized that they turned the settings back on again AND my credit was drained, too!

When I went to complain right away, they denied that and refused to cancel my plan so they can keep charging me monthly. Very disappointing!

there was a special offer for independence day which i activated from their app and it showed activated successfully . i made a call after that and my international min which i had already go deducted. i called the customer service thrice and had a live chat, and also they asked me to send a screenshot of the app and offer showing it's activated and i even texted them in whatsapp. They have not responded in anyway .very disappointed in their service which shows it's a scam .i just lost money from my package . it's a shame on this big network for scamming people
